Dr. Mundra is a medical graduate from MGM Medical College (Indore) with the additional qualification of the Diploma in Tuberculosis & Chest Diseases (DTCD). With training in Fibreoptic Bronchoscopy from Steel Authority of India, Bhilai Steel Plant Hospital and training in Medical thorascopy under the guidance of prominent Onco Thorasic surgeon Dr. Phillipe Astoul from France, Dr. Mundra’s knowledge base and clinical skills were further strengthened.

- He is one of the pioneer doctors in Pulmonology in western part of MP.
- He is one of the principal doctors to offer private services in Fibreoptic Bronchoscopy in Central India in 1994.
- He was one of the first doctors to provide Spirometry facility in whole of MP, in 1998.
- In 1999, he established a pulmonary centre equipped with X-Ray, Pathology, Fibreoptic Bronchoscopy, Spirometery, Allergy Test and FNAC gun facilities. The centre earned the distinction of being Indore’s sole centre offering myriad respiratory facilities under a single roof.
- His centre was the first to provide Sleep Study and Medical Thoracoscopy in Central India.
- He is privileged to have served in miscellaneous positions at Indore Chest Society including the post of the President. Presently he functions as Chief Advisor of Indore Chest Society.
- He has executed several significant roles at Indian Medical Association, Indore branch.
